Morocco Mall Marrakech and the City's Expanding Luxury Retail Market

Morocco Mall Marrakech is planned for the developing M'hamid district and is intended to become a major luxury-shopping destination in North Africa. It is Aksal Group's second large retail project following its flagship center in Casablanca.

The development is expected to cover more than 100,000 square meters. Plans include international fashion brands, upscale restaurants, a cinema, leisure areas, and contemporary architecture designed to reflect Marrakech's cultural identity.

The project also forms part of a broader urban transformation. Marrakech continues to expand as tourism, consumer demand, and investment from Moroccans living abroad increase.

A potential catalyst for property and retail investment

Large commercial centers can encourage surrounding development, raise land values, and attract hotels, offices, services, and additional retailers. Morocco Mall Marrakech could therefore accelerate investment beyond its own site.

The surrounding southwestern zone remains relatively underdeveloped. Investors are assessing its long-term potential for retail parks, luxury stores, hospitality, and premium commercial space.
